Exploration Monday!

Today was the first day the children got to explore the school during center times. The children planned their day out this morning by picking a room to start in.  The children were free to switch rooms throughout center time. Many children enjoyed the idea of playing in different rooms throughout the day.  Each child was excited to make the decision of what room and activity they wanted to participate in. The children really used their senses today and explored the activities in each room.

Violet and Cooper worked together to sort dinosaurs by color. Violet explained, "We're collecting the dinosaurs!"

James explored clay with his hands.  He said "This is cold and squishy!"

Jace, Gabrielle and Olivia L. explored the water table.  When Jace found a hole in the bottom of one of the cups, he filled it up and lifted it so that Gabrielle could catch the water with her cup.

It was a fun-filled Monday in POD A. Have a good evening!
