Rainy Thursday

Today the weather was gloomy, but the children kept active inside. This morning in the Walnut room, Tommy made footprints in the play dough using the dinosaurs in the black light room. Luke, Olivia, Savanna, and Aidan worked at the water table transferring water from table to table using the tubing. In the Oak room, Mrs. Upton was working at the pottery wheel with the children. Danny and Cynthia sketched pictures of the festive corn. During the afternoon in the Maple room, Jace, Kallix, and Ms. Weller built a structure using bricks and colored stones. Sanuthi used the Legos to build an airplane. In the Pine room Nikayla had a dance party with Mrs. Gursky, Ms Goodman, and Mrs. Potter. The children made hummas in the Kitchen with Hala's mother. The children were able to spend some time outside this morning. During outside time in the afternoon we went down to the indoor movement room and moved through an obstacle course.
Alex crawled through the tunnel on his hands and knees.

Zin made a porcupine using play dough and straws.

Dakoda, Axel, and Luke walked through the mud.

We hope everyone had a good week! We will see you on Monday!
