Blocks, Blocks Everywhere

Today, in the Maple room, the block area was very busy. The children had made a very tall structure the day before and they decided to add to it. James said, "I'm building a trap for the monsters". He classified the little brown and black bricks as a sticky trap to catch the bad guys. Daniel was focused on making the structures stay balanced so they didn't fall over and make the loud noise that was said to be scary. The story of the structures advanced throughout center time. A couple of the boys started a count down to when the monsters and dragons were ariving. they also made up plans to what they were going to build to keep their treasure safe.
